ICTP4P Update: Week in Review

It has been a week since the Computer Professionals’ Union (CPU) started pouring all-out efforts into helping the Citizens’ Disaster Response Center (CDRC)’s Relief Distribution Operations (RDOs) to over 100,000 families in NCR and in various regions affected by Typhoon Ondoy (Ketsana). The amount of rainfall was unprecedentedly the highest in over four decades, even greater than the famed Hurricane Katrina that devasted parts of the United States.

Even the most indifferent Filipino netizen knows the reality that is the evil of Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. It is, however, a sign of the times when even the most conio of web frequenters have started ranting on the crises and controversies that we face daily under GMA. If we stop to listen to even their tiniest whispers on the issue, we know there is rage inertwined among those lines.

When All Lines are Busy

I posted this back in June 29 when I was trying to internalize being a convenor of TXTPower. When all communications come to a halt before it reaches the government, then this blog's topic will never go out of style. Sana basahin ninyo! :)
