As a student of Quezon City Polytechnic University I grab the opportunity to invite the CP-Union members to come to the university and conduct a seminar regarding to Free and Open Source Software in web platform and desktop platform and some OpenSource business software and the G.ho.st Virtual Desktop. The audience of that seminar is mostly 3rd year IT student of the university. The seminar was organized by the 4th year IT student with the help of some IT instructor. The goal of this seminar is to motivate and inspire the student to learn and explore new things in IT industry especially on OpenSource software and also to be aware of the significance of OpenSource Software to their lives and community.
The QCPU is very thankful that the CP-Union response to the said seminar dated on Jan 19 and Jan 29 2009. Thanks again to Mr.Elvin and Mr,Gener that give a positive response. The QCPU faculty teachers are looking again once more to have a seminar in the next month that will showcase the Free and Open Source Software and some web apps technology.
